Now, I know I had hungry eyes once seated, but when you look/read at the menu, you can't help but be super indecisive. Solution: come back and eat at Hash House tomorrow. I came during the 2 weeks of celebrating their 10 year anniversary, so I ordered from their specials menu the Duck-bacon sausage hash house - tossed with crispy potatoes, 2 eggs, homemade biscuit, and fruit. My eating buddy had the House roasted chicken w/ mushroom, sliced market yellow tomato all crowned w/ basil pesto cream and two basted eggs benedict.
When the plates came out, our eyes seriously bulged out of their sockets. The portions are stacked! Humungously huge! Even looking around, the pancakes are the size of a large pizza, meat just overflowing out of the sandwich, fried chicken piled high on stacks of waffles....oh yea, the food is out of this world delicious!!! You HAVE to eat here when you come to San Diego!

We topped our food with a ginger-lime mimosa and some cucumber-mint cocktail good for hangovers. I wish they had a cocktail for food comas!Hash House a go-go 3628 5th Ave San Diego, CA 92103 (619) 298-4646
